Trivet LA – It’s Not Uncommon to Hire a Personal Chef in Los Angeles

This is NOT a sponsored postWe paid for Trivet LA chef service in full. Just wanted to share a good thing with friends and family.

don’t know about you, but I’m glad June gloom is finallybehind us. It’s starting to look like summer here in Los Angeles. Now that baby Xander is getting biggermy partner Chenee and I started thinking about entertaining again. This past year we’ve been so busy with work and Xander that our entertaining experiences consisted of calling Domino’s for pizzas and chilling plenty of Gatorade. Not exactly high style, or worthy of this post.

Recently I asked Chenee if we could shift gears to entertain in a more sophisticated style. She was perfectly fine with that, as long as she didn’t have to cook. I turned to some of my friends for advice. Who better than them. In some fashion, they have been entertaining family and friends for years.  I on the other hand get “hostess heat.”

They told me to hire a chef and they weren’t even kidding. One of our friends brings up this company called Trivet LA. I visited their site, and sure enough, they handle all food matters for their customers. It’s actually pretty simple. You pick a menu (wedecided to go with Mushroom Chicken Marsala), and then Trivet sends a personal chef to your home. The chef comes with all the groceries, cooks and cleans up afterwards. Each choice is organic (we really like that) and includes appetizer, entrée and two side dishes.

At first, Chenee and I were a little worried that Chef Juliewouldn’t find her way around our kitchen, but she was completely comfortable and self-sufficient. Julie prepared an amazing meal. The chicken was fabulous. We all loved it and I didn’t get stressed at all. Sure, for a comparable cost we could have gone to a restaurant, but it’s so much more relaxing at home and we didn’t have to worry about finding a babysitter.

I heard that it’s not that uncommon to hire a personal chef in Los Angeles. Why am I not surprised? Who doesn’t want ahealthy gourmet meal delivered to their home?
